Tesla (TSLA) advanced by 1.3% hours before market open, swinging from a 5.4% fall at Thursday's close.

Microsoft (MSFT) was 0.8% higher in pre-bell activity, after closing Thursday with a 1.1% increase.

W&T Offshore (WTI) was 0.2% lower premarket, swinging from a 4.7% increase at Thursday's close.

DTE Energy (DTE) was slightly lower pre-bell, after a 0.6% increase from the previous session.
