Broadcom (AVGO) said Wednesday that it launched its Arcot Smart Ruleset, a machine learning-powered adaptive 3-D Secure ruleset engine intended to identify and stop fraudulent transactions.
The new ruleset replaces manual fraud rule-writing with fraud logic that learns from evolving threats while updating to the latest compliance and regulatory requirements, the company said.
Broadcom said the Arcot Smart Ruleset analyzes real-time signals in milliseconds and automates data-driven rules that provide meaningful results.
Shares of Broadcom were up more than 4% in Wednesday trading.
