Fujian Longking, EVE Energy Forming Energy Storage JV in Fujian

Fujian Longking (SHA:600388) agreed to form a joint venture with EVE Energy (SHE:300014) to build a 60-gigawatt-hour large-capacity energy storage battery factory in China's Fujian province.

The Fujian EVE Energy joint venture will have a registered capital of 900 million yuan, with EVE Energy holding an 80% stake and Fujian Longking holding 20%, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The plant will focus on large-format, long-cycle energy storage cells.
