Daiseki's (TYO:9793) profit attributable to owners of the parent slipped 1.6% to 9.16 billion yen for the fiscal year ended Feb. 28 from 9.31 billion yen a year earlier.
The waste disposal company's basic earnings per share declined to 193.02 yen from 193.37 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
Net sales increased by 6.7% to 71.8 billion yen from 67.3 billion yen in the prior year.
Daiseki declared a final dividend of 40 yen per share, payable from May 29.
For the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 11.2 billion yen, basic EPS of 236.85 yen and net sales of 74.2 billion yen.
Daiseki plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 43.00 yen per share each for the current year, bringing the total payout to 86 yen, which is higher than the 76 yen paid in the year-ago period.
