Antipa Minerals' (ASX:AZY) Minyari Dome open pit material is higher margin material compared with Greatland Resources' (ASX:GGP) West Dome open pit due to its grade, Euroz Hartleys said in an April 2 note.
Minyari Dome open pit only resource is at 31.7 million tonnes at 1.7 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold and 0.2% copper, while Greatland Resources' recent resource upgrade shows West Dome open pit is at 338 million tonnes at 0.5 g/t grade of gold and 0.04% copper.
The company's updated mineral resource estimate is at 69 million tonnes at 1.3 g/t grade of gold, containing 2.9 million ounces of gold, or 3.6 million ounces at 1.6 g/t gold equivalent.
The total mineral resource estimate was previously 3.3 million ounces gold equivalent at 1.5 g/t grade of gold.
Euroz Hartleys maintained a speculative buy recommendation on Antipa Minerals while its AU$0.90 price target is under review.
Antipa Minerals shares rose 2% in afternoon trade Tuesday, while Greatland Resources shares were up nearly 5%.
