Prudential Buys Back Shares

Prudential (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) bought back 390,349 shares in London on April 2 at an average price of about 10.68 pounds sterling apiece, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.

Following the transaction, the company will have about 2.53 billion shares in issue.
