April 10 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq edged higher on Friday, lifted by gains in tech stocks after March inflation data met expectations despite ongoing pressures from the Middle East conflict, while investors weighed the strained truce between the U.S. and Iran. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.29% at 48,044.40. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.17% at 6,836.31, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.67% at 22,975.73.
