ComfortDelGro (SGX:C52) is looking to expand its robotaxis operations across the globe as part of its next growth bet, according to a report by Nikkei on Friday.
The transportation company's group CEO, Cheng Siak Kian said the company plans to convert 10% of its existing fleet to robotaxis in the next four to five years, the report said.
After its overseas sales crossed 50% in 2025, the company is now turning its attention towards robotaxis, the report added.
Presently, the company is offering test rides in Singapore, while five vehicles have been jointly developed by Toyota and Pony AI, the report noted.
