Amneal Pharmaceuticals (AMRX) said Thursday it has launched bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.01%, a generic eye-drop version of Lumigan from AbbVie-owned (ABBV) Allergan.
Amneal said the generic eye-drop treatment is used to lower high pressure in the eye in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
