EchoStar's Sling TV Launches Sling Essentials Streaming Package

EchoStar's (SATS) Sling TV unit said Thursday it has launched its Sling Essentials streaming package.

The company said the new tier will cost $19.99 a month and include 12 channels, including ESPN, ESPN 2, and Disney Channel.

Sling TV also said it will offer a bundled package of Sling Essentials and Sling Select for $34.99 per month. Sling Select includes FOX News, FS1, NFL Network, and National Geographic, among others.
