0909 GMT - The cost of insuring euro credit against default stays steady as markets await the outcome of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over the Middle East war this weekend. Investors are cautiously optimistic about a possible permanent solution to the conflict. The iTraxx Europe Crossover index of euro high-yield credit default swaps is unchanged at 293 basis points, S&P Global Market Intelligence data show. The iTraxx Europe Main index of euro investment-grade CDS declines 1bp to 58bps. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
