Stocks to Watch Friday: Lumentum, Coherent, Porsche -- WSJ

Dow Jones04-10

Lumentum $(LITE)$, Coherent $(COHR)$: The Nvidia (NVDA)-backed optical equipment makers gained premarket. JPMorgan analysts raised their price targets for the stocks.

Organon $(OGN)$: Shares in the women's healthcare company rose premarket after a media report that India's Sun Pharmaceutical (IN:NSE) submitted a binding offer for the company.

Ally Financial $(ALLY)$, Truist Financial $(TFC)$: The first set of consumer-price data is due Friday morning. Regional banks, which are particularly exposed to changing interest-rate expectations, are among the stocks that could be moved by any inflation surprise.

D.R. Horton $(DHI)$, Lennar $(LEN)$: The inflation print could similarly sway home-building stocks. Cooler inflation and lower rates tend to boost mortgage availability and home sales.

Porsche (XE:P911): The luxury-car brand's deliveries fell as the end of production of its petrol-powered 718 range and the discontinuation of U.S. EV incentives dented sales. Shares fell slightly.
