MT Newswires Live04-09

Biwin Storage Technology (SHA:688525) received notice that MT Storage Technology (Shenzhen) filed two additional infringement lawsuits against the company, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.

In September 2025, MT Storage filed lawsuits of invention patent infringement against the Chinese memory chip application products manufacturer. The plaintiff seeks to order the company to halt the manufacturing and selling of eMMC-standard products and for Jiangsu JinZhen Mobile Chain Trading to stop selling ZTE "Changxing 50" (4GB version) phones with infringing components.

MT Storage claims a total compensation worth 50 million yuan for economic losses and damages caused by the alleged infringement.

The new lawsuits, which are yet to be heard, are based on the two previous patents in the same portfolio.

Biwin's shares slipped 1% during the midday trade.
