Peru halts start of <a href="https://laohu8.com/S/SCCO">Southern Copper</a>'s Tia Maria project for review

LIMA, April 10 (Reuters) - Peru's government said on Friday that the start of exploitation at Southern Copper's Tia Maria copper project has been nullified and is awaiting a new evaluation.

The project will enter a new evaluation to strengthen the soundness of the mining process, the mining ministry said in a statement.
