Shanghai Pharmaceuticals' (SHA:601607, HKG:2607) Digoxin Tablets received approval from the National Medical Products Administration for its supplemental drug application after passing the regulator's consistency evaluation, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.
The evaluation tested the consistency of the drug's quality and efficiency.
The drug is used to treat heart failure and to control ventricular rate in patients with atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and supraventricular tachycardia.
