Israeli strikes in Lebanon continued on Thursday as Iran's deputy foreign minister warned the attacks were a "grave violation" of the cease-fire with the U.S. Airstrikes killed seven people and wounded others in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, according to Lebanon's National News Agency. Other strikes hit the town of Bint Jbeil, Lebanese media said.
The Iranian deputy foreign minister, Saeed Khatibzadeh, told the BBC on Thursday that heavy strikes on Lebanon a day earlier were a "massacre" and the U.S. must now "choose between war and cease-fire." Lebanon's health ministry said those attacks killed more than 180 people-the highest single-day death toll during the current round of fighting between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants.
