The Israeli military said Wednesday that Staff Sgt. Touvel Yosef Lifshiz, 20, of the 13th Battalion, Golani Brigade, was killed on Tuesday in action in southern Lebanon.

Five other soldiers were injured in the same incident and have been evacuated to hospitals for treatment, the military said.
