LG Corporation's (KRX:003550) LG AI Research Institute unveiled a multimodal AI model called EXAONE 4.5, which can understand and reason with text and images at the same time, according to a Thursday release.
LG AI Research's ExaOne 4.5 is a vision-language model that combines a proprietary vision encoder and a large language model into a single unit, building on ExaOne 1.0, launched in December 2021, the release said.
Shares of LG Corporation fell nearly 2% in recent trade.
