Chinese artificial intelligence company Zhipu bumped the price to access its latest GLM-5.1 open source model by 8% to 17% when compared to its older GLM-5 Turbo, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
The rise comes amid efforts by other Chinese AI firms to profit off of years of investment in research and computing, the report said.
Zhipu's price bump is the second instance of increase by the firm this year and follows a surge in demand for OpenClaw-like agentic services, the report said.
