Also, a previous offer, for $12 a share, valued Leggett & Platt at $1.64 billion. The earlier articles incorrectly said that offer had valued the company at $1.63 billion; it didn't include the per share price. Meanwhile, the recent offer implied a value of nearly $11.36 a share, based on Somnigroup's closing price on Friday.
