CACI International received a five-year expertise task order valued at up to $306 million to continue providing software development to the Defense Department.

Under the task order, the defense contractor will offer software development, enhancement and maintenance of current and future releases of the Defense Agencies Initiative's Global Model.

The work will include providing functional support, analysis, recommendations and assistance in meeting mandated standards for the financial-management system.

Earlier this month, President Trump released a budget proposal seeking a historic $1.5 trillion in defense spending for fiscal 2027.
