McDonald's (MCD) plans to roll out a new lineup of cold beverages in the US, including a Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday, citing company documents and people familiar with the matter.
The launch, expected in phases starting next month and extending into August, will also feature drinks like Dirty Dr Pepper and Mango Pineapple Refresher, the publication reported.
McDonald's plans to price the drinks below competitors while targeting high margins for franchisees, who have invested in new equipment, according to the report.
The company said its refreshers and crafted soda are coming next month, while energy is later this year.
