Starbucks (SBUX) said Wednesday it launched a beta app in ChatGPT, offering an AI-powered experience that helps users discover and customize beverages based on their mood, preferences, or images.
The new integration lets users describe cravings or upload photos to receive personalized drink suggestions, then customize orders, choose a store, and begin checkout within ChatGPT before completing the purchase in the Starbucks app or on the website, the company said.
The company said the feature is designed to make drink discovery more intuitive and personalized, building on existing customization tools in its app.
