HDFC Asset Management's Consolidated Profit Declines in Fiscal Q4

HDFC Asset Management Company's (NSE:HDFCAMC, BOM:541729) consolidated attributable profit declined to 6.23 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 6.38 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share contracted to 14.48 rupees from 14.89 rupees a year earlier, the asset management company said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Thursday.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 rose to 10.5 billion rupees from 9.01 billion rupees a year ago.

The company's board recommended a final dividend of 54 rupees per equity share of 5 rupees each of the company, for the financial year ended March 31.

The company's shares were down over 1% in recent trade.
