Paramount Skydance's (PSKY) proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is facing a merger inquiry by the UK Competition and Markets Authority, the regulator said Monday.
The CMA has invited comments from interested parties regarding the potential impact of the transaction on competition in the UK.
The regulator said that it has not yet opened a formal investigation into the deal.
