Pernod Ricard's 3Q Sales Unlikely to Move Investors Much -- Market Talk
Dow Jones04-16 14:41
0641 GMT - Investors are likely to take Pernod Ricard's latest sales update more or less ambivalently, RBC Capital Markets analysts James Edwardes Jones and Wassachon Udomsilpa write in a note to clients. The French drinks group reported improved sales trends for its most recent quarter but warned it expects a drop in revenue for the full fiscal year as the Iran war adds to challenged markets in the U.S. and China. "We can't see this advancing the investment case, either positively or negatively," Edwardes Jones and Udomsilpa say. (joshua.kirby@wsj.com; @joshualeokirby)
