Open Text Expands European Sovereign Cloud Push with AWS Offering, S3NS Partnership

Open Text (OTEX) on Monday announced a dual expansion of its European sovereign cloud strategy through a new offering on Amazon (AMZN) Web Services and a strategic partnership with S3NS, an alliance between Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud and Thales.

Open Text said it will make its enterprise data and AI solutions available on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, enabling customers to deploy AI-ready platforms while ensuring data residency and governance remain within the European Union.

Separately, Open Text said it is teaming up with S3NS to deliver a hybrid trusted cloud in France, enabling organizations to keep sensitive workloads locally governed while using hyperscale cloud services for less sensitive needs.
