Marsh & McLennan (MRSH) said Tuesday it has named Mark McGivney chief operating officer, effective Wednesday, in addition to his current role as chief financial officer.
Chief Executive John Doyle has been performing the role of chief operating officer.
McGivney previously served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of the company's Mercer unit.
