Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOSL) said Tuesday that Kaynes Semicon's outsourced semiconductor assembly and test facility in Gujarat, India, has begun production of its Intelligent Power Modules.
The company said these modules provide "core intelligence" for next-generation motor controls and energy-efficient appliances.
Shares of Alpha and Omega Semiconductor were up 1.6% pre-bell.
