Honda Motor Recalling 440,830 Odyssey Vehicles

MT Newswires Live04-15

Honda Motor (HMC) is recalling 440,830 Odyssey vehicles due to a software programming error that can unexpectedly deploy air bags, increasing the risk of injury, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Tuesday.

The vehicle models date from 2018 to 2022 and the regulator said dealers will remedy the issue by reprogramming the vehicles' supplemental restraint system electronic control unit software or replace the unit itself.
