BTQ Technologies (BTQ) said Tuesday it had entered into a strategic collaboration with Korean IT and payment infrastructure company Daou Data to advance hardware-rooted post-quantum security for the country's payment infrastructure.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company said the collaboration aims to prepare for risks posed by quantum computing by strengthening security architecture and helping reduce exposure to external leaks.
Under the agreement, BTQ Technologies will provide post-quantum security architecture and built-in hardware security frameworks, and will deploy the design for institutional systems.
Meanwhile, Daou Data will initially focus on strengthening the security of its payment systems.
