Arcs' Full-Year Profit Increases 13%, Raises Final Dividend Forecast

Arcs' (TYO:9948) profit attributable to owners of the parent increased 13% to 12.4 billion yen for the fiscal year ended Feb. 28 from 11.1 billion yen a year earlier.

The retailer's basic earnings per share increased to 231.36 yen from 204.96 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.

Net sales rose 3.1% to 627 billion yen from 608.3 billion yen in the prior year.

In a separate filing, Arcs raised its year-end dividend forecast to 45 yen per share, up from the previously revised forecast of 43 yen and payable on May 27.

This brings the total annual dividend to 82 yen per share, including the 37 yen interim dividend, subject to approval at the shareholders' meeting on May 26.

For the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2027, the company expects an attributable profit of 12.4 billion yen, basic EPS of 232.73 yen, and net sales of 648 billion yen.

Arcs plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 41 yen per share, each, for the current year.
