Anthropic to Expand Mythos AI Access to UK Banks Within Next Week

Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic plans to roll out its closely watched Mythos artificial intelligence model to UK financial institutions within the next week as part of a phased expansion of its "Project Glasswing" program, said Pip White, Anthropic's head for the UK, Ireland and northern Europe, in a Bloomberg Television interview Thursday.

The model, built to detect and potentially exploit cybersecurity weaknesses, has identified vulnerabilities across major operating systems and web browsers, White said.

Anthropic previously said access is being restricted so cybersecurity experts can evaluate risks and reinforce defenses, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

Anthropic did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
