If Mythos can surface flaws that every existing security tool missed, banks might be one of the more vulnerable sectors.\nThe updated Claude Opus 4.7 will be released with safeguards to automatically detect and block requests that indicate prohibited or high-risk cybersecurity uses.\n\"What we learn from the real-world deployment of these safeguards will help us work towards our eventual goal of a broad release of Mythos-class models,\" Anthropic stated.\nThe updated model will also allow users to see images in a higher resolution, and will assist with the \"most difficult tasks.\" Although it's less broadly capable than Mythos, it provides better results than Opus 4.6, the company pointed out.\nEarly testing of the updated model suggests improved instruction-following capabilities, along with stronger performance in a finance analyst role.
