American depository receipts of JinkoSolar Holding declined after the company logged a wider loss and lower revenue in its latest quarter, hurt by continued volatility in the solar industry.
ADRs fell 12% to $21.41 on Thursday, and are down 17% this year.
The energy technology company posted a loss of 2.54 billion Chinese yuan ($372.4 million.), compared with a loss of CNY833.2 million a year earlier.
Revenue fell 15% to CNY17.51 billion.
Solar module shipments fell 4%.
The company attributed its full-year loss to low module prices, the elimination of some production capacity and an evolving product mix. The results were also affected by continued volatility across the solar industry.
"The global photovoltaic industry continued to experience volatility due to structural imbalances and a shifting trade environment, which negatively impacted financials across the industrial chain," Chief Executive Xiande Li said.
