Dow Jones04-17 11:37
0337 GMT - JD.com is likely to deliver better-than-expected earnings in the first quarter, according to Nomura analysts in a research note. The e-commerce company is likely to show "resilient profitability" in its retail business, with losses narrowing in the food delivery business, they note. JD retail's operating profit likely remained flat year-over-year during the quarter, which is impressive in view of the high base effect, they note. The analysts keep a buy rating, with a target price of US$40.00 on its ADRs, which last traded at US$31.33. (tracy.qu@wsj.com)
