European Airlines, Aerospace Stocks Rise After Iran Says Strait of Hormuz Is Open -- Market Talk

1344 GMT - European airlines and aerospace stocks jump after Iran's foreign minister said the Strait of Hormuz, an important waterway for oil, is open again. Wizz Air and easyJet gain the most: shares are up 9.8% and 8%, respectively. Shares in Air France-KLM are up 7.8%. Deutsche Lufthansa rises 6.4%, Jet2 advances 6.2%. International Consolidated Airlines Group--owner of British Airways and Iberia--climbs 5.7%. In the engine-making industry, Rolls-Royce rises 6%, Safran gains 5.7% and MTU Aero Engines climbs 5.2%.
