Apple (AAPL) has not submitted financial data sought by the Competition Commission of India in an antitrust case over its App Store practices, Reuters reported Monday, citing an order that is not public.
The report said the regulator has scheduled a final hearing next month as it moves toward deciding potential penalties.
The regulator reportedly said in an April 8 order that the iPhone maker has not provided required financial disclosures or responded to an investigation report since October 2024, despite multiple opportunities.
The case stems from a 2021 complaint and a subsequent investigation that found Apple abused its dominant position by requiring developers to use its in-app purchase system.
The CCI has set May 21 as the date for the final hearing, per Reuters.
Apple did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
