1028 ET - Kyndryl's two-year targets appear to be too aggressive, BMO Capital Markets analysts say in a research note. While Kyndryl has made progress growing its consulting business and is well positioned to continue gaining share, the analysts say they are cautious on the overall market. "We think that market demand remains muted in the near-term and generative AI impact to long-term market growth creates uncertainty," they write. At the same time, the growth across Kendyrl's consulting business doesn't seem to be enough to offset declining revenue across its managed services business. As a result: "We do not expect Kyndryl to deliver on its previously issued FY28 financial targets," the analysts say. BMO launches coverage of Kyndryl with a market perform rating and $15 target price. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
