Imax CEO Gelfond to Return From Medical Leave on May 1

Imax Chief Executive Richard Gelfond will return to his role on May 1 after taking a temporary medical leave to receive treatment for pneumonia.

Chief Legal Officer Robert Lister was appointed to serve as interim principal executive officer until Gelfond returns, the company said in a Friday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Lister will not receive any additional compensation for his interim appointment, the company said.
