New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) said extensional drilling below the planned base of the operating Crown Prince mine open pit in Western Australia delivered high-grade gold intercepts, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
These intercepts included the deepest ore grade interval seen at Crown Prince so far, at 3.2 meters at 48.9 grams per tonne grade of gold from 330 meters. It also hit an intercept of 13 meters at 13.3g/t grade of gold from 164 meters.
Its shares jumped 6% in recent trading on Thursday.
