Peric Special Gases' (SHA:688146) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter rose 17% to 101.3 million yuan from 86.7 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.
Earnings per share increased 19% year on year to 0.19 yuan from 0.16 yuan.
Operating revenue jumped 36% to 701.4 million yuan from 515.7 million yuan in the previous year.
The Chinese gas company's shares jumped 3% during the afternoon trade.
