Avis Budget Group (CAR) stock was up 9.1%, adding to the previous session's gains.
Amazon.com (AMZN) shares were 3% higher after the company said overnight it will invest $5 billion in Anthropic and up to another $20 billion in the future, if certain commercial milestones are met.
GE Aerospace (GE) stock was up 2.1% after the company reported higher Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.
