Xiamen Tungsten (SHA:600549) appointed Zhong Kexiang chairman, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
Zhong, who served as the company's executive vice president, will take over from Huang Changeng who resigned after reaching the statutory retirement age.
The Chinese tungsten carbide manufacturer's shares fell less than 3% during the midday trade.
