Keppel DC REIT Likely Pivoting to Hyperscale Data Centers -- Market Talk

0135 GMT - Keppel DC REIT is likely pivoting to hyperscale data centers, UOB Kay Hian's Jonathan Koh says in a research report. The REIT plans to acquire hyperscale data centers in its preferred markets, such as Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Europe, the analyst says. In near term, the REIT is probably focusing on acquisitions from third-party vendors, the analyst adds. The brokerage increases its distribution-per-unit forecast for the REIT by 3.0% for 2026 and 2.8% for 2027 to reflect contribution from the newly acquired Tokyo Data Centre 3. It raises the unit's target price to S$2.90 from S$2.82 with an unchanged buy rating. Units are unchanged at S$2.38. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
