China Spacesat's Loss Widens in Q1; Shares Down 7%

China Spacesat's (SHA:600118) net loss attributable to shareholders in the first quarter widened year on year to 42.7 million yuan, or 0.04 yuan per share, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.

The attributable loss a year earlier was 24.1 million yuan, or 0.02 yuan per share.

Operating revenue jumped 38% to 609.1 million yuan from 441.7 million yuan in the prior year.

The Chinese satellite manufacturer's shares slumped less than 7% during the morning trade.
