Stocks to Watch: Amazon, Alaska Air Group, BridgeBio Oncology, AXT

Amazon said it would invest $5 billion in Anthropic, with the potential for up to $20 billion more based on commercial milestones. Anthropic also committed to spend upward of $100 billion on Amazon technologies over the next ten years. Shares gained 2.6% to $254.80 in after-hours trading Monday.

Alaska Air Group withdrew its guidance, citing uncertainty around the cost of fuel from the war in Iran. Shares fell 4.9% to $41.40 after the bell.

BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics received fast-track designation from the Food and Drug Administration for its pancreatic cancer treatment. Shares were up 4.2% to $9.65.

AXT disclosed plans to sell shares in a secondary offering. The stock declined 12% to $69.25.
