Apcotex Industries (NSE:APCOTEXIND, BOM:523694) said it has completed acquisition of a 3.4 million equity shares, or a 5.12% stake, in Opera Vayu Narmada for 33.8 million Indian rupees, according to a Thursday filing on Indian bourses.

Shares of the company fell over 1% in Friday's trade.

The investment is aimed at acquiring captive consumption of hybrid power, the filing said.
