Utilities Up After NextEra Earnings -- Utilities Roundup

Shares of power producers rallied after strong earnings from one major electricity firm.
NextEra Energy surged 6.9% as the company said its Florida Power & Light regulated utility benefitted from residential demand while its NextEra Energy Resources generation unit was bolstered by demand from data centers all over the country.
Similarly, PG&E, the owner of California utility Pacific Gas & Electric, indicated a boom in data-center demand was set to continue and reiterated its earnings-growth projection for the year.
