Microsoft (MSFT) said it plans to invest 25 billion Australian dollars ($18 billion) in digital infrastructure in Australia through 2029.
The investment will expand its cloud and artificial intelligence footprint in the country by more than 140% over the period, the company said Thursday.
The plan builds on a prior AU$5 billion investment announced in October 2023, which expanded Microsoft's data center presence and supported cybersecurity and skills initiatives.
